Susan Cattaneo

Susan Cattaneo is one of Boston’s most respected songwriters. A powerful singer and sophisticated writer, Susan combines vivid storytelling with a modern songwriter’s spin. Respectful of tradition, but not bound by it, Susan blends rock, folk and blues with a healthy dose of country. Call it New England Americana with a twang.

Susan’s latest album, Haunted Heart was released in January 2014 to national acclaim. It was voted one of Alternate Root’s Top 100 Albums of the Year, and won Album of the Year at the Limelight Music Awards.

Last spring, Susan performed as a finalist at the Philadelphia Songwriters Project and at the Wildflower Festival Songwriters contest. Over the past two years, she has also been a finalist or winner at some of the country’s most prestigious songwriting and music contests including: Kerrville’s New Folk Contest, the International Acoustic Music Awards, the Independent Music Awards, the 5 Unsigned Only Song Contest, the USA Songwriting Competition, the Mountain Stage New Song Contest, and the Mid-Atlantic Song Contest.

In addition to being a solo performing artist, Susan has been teaching songwriting at the Berklee College of Music for over 15 years, and has recently joined the Western Mass trio The Boxcar Lilies.

In the New England area, Susan has won over audiences at venues such as: Club Passim, the Shalin Liu Center, the Me & Thee Coffeehouse, Caffe Lena, Tupelo Music Hall, the South Shore Music Circus and the River Club Music Hall.

She has opened for or shared the stage with Bill Kirchen, David Wilcox, Rose Cousins, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Ellis Paul, Paula Cole, Livingston Taylor, David Wilcox, Amy Grant, Melissa Ferrick, and The Pousette-Dart Band.

“Cattaneo has been playing around Boston and its environs for a while, sometimes solo and sometimes with stellar players. She rocks with the best of them and also sings ballads so sweetly and lovingly that it can bring tears to the eyes of those listening”
No Depression

“Ultimately it’s rare to find an artist so willing to invest her psyche so fully into her songs, but the return on Cattaneo’s commitment also makes for a compelling set of songs.”
American Songwriter

“She’s able to blend gritty semi-confessional bluesy sounds with poetic conversational lyrics”
Austin Daze

“Her voice is somewhere between national treasure and weapon of mass destruction”

Jesse Terry

Jesse Terry is a singer/songwriter with an uncanny ability to weave tales of travel and homecoming, of sorrow and of redemption, into songs that are simultaneously timeless and fresh. Home is now the coastal village of Stonington, Connecticut, but Terry’s music reflects an amalgam of influences, from Abbey Road to Nashville to Laurel Canyon. His melodic and lyrically-driven Americana fits naturally on a playlist between cuts from George Harrison, Ryan Adams, Tom Petty, Josh Ritter and Jackson Browne. Terry has released four albums to date and is preparing to release two more albums in 2017, titled ‘Natural’ and ‘Stargazer’.

Jesse is fresh off appearances at Bonnaroo, The Philadelphia Folk Festival, Musikfest and The Tiree Music Festival. The Grand Prize winner of The John Lennon Songwriting Contest and The CMT/NSAI Song Contest, Terry has garnered worldwide acclaim, including the elite honor of performing for US and NATO troops stationed at Thule Air Base in Greenland and an official endorsement by Stonebridge Guitars. Jesse was also a First Place Winner in the International Songwriting Competition, judged by Jason Isbell, Tom Waits, Randy Newman and other greats. The buzz over Jesse Terry continues to build, with tours bringing him from coast to coast and across oceans to the UK, Ireland, Germany, The Netherlands and New Zealand. His music has appeared in the CW’s ‘Hart of Dixie’, PBS’s ‘Roadtrip Nation’ and ABC’s ‘Forever’. Terry’s stunning song ‘Stargazer’ was recently recorded by Sarah Darling and released on her brand new album ‘Dream Country’.

Person by person, state by state, country by country, his fans, supporters, and colleagues have grown exponentially in the past few years, including at multiple gigs where Terry has opened for major artists such as Paula Cole, Darrell Scott, Red Molly, Liz Longley, and founder of Jefferson Airplane, Marty Balin.

Jesse graduated Berklee College of Music in 2004 with a degree in Songwriting and was quickly offered a publishing deal as a staff songwriter in Nashville, TN. After writing professionally on Music Row for five years, Terry hit the road and became a full-time touring artist. Today he is a fixture on the singer/songwriter scene in the US and the UK and continues to perform over 100 shows a year. Terry has worked as a songwriting mentor and evaluator for Nashville Songwriters Association International and has been an invited pro writer at many songwriting retreats and festivals, including International Listening Room Retreats, Martha’s Vineyard Songwriters Festival and the 30A Songwriters Festival. Jesse works with songwriters to unlock their creative potential, hone their craft and discover their own unique voice.

As a young artist, Terry would fit right in with the songwriters of the 1960s and ’70s. Listening to his music, it’s easy to imagine hearing his songs on the radio in between cuts by Bob Dylan, James Taylor, Jackson Browne and Joni Mitchell.”
